Review for Adam Leighton Acupuncturist
I developed Bells Palsy over night, and was prescribed a course of steroids and antivirals by my doctor for two weeks, which did not help a great deal. After the third week my doctor said it normally starts to improve, which it didn't.

Through research I found acupuncture could assist, and was put in contact with Adam who explained he had treated patients with Bells Palsy before, and had in depth knowledge on the condition.

After the first session with Adam I noticed movement in my mouth and eye, which I was unable to move prior to treatment. After only a few treatments later, I now have full movement in my face.

I could not be happier with the treatment I recieved, and anyone who develops Bells Palsy should look into acupuncture, as I found it was not a treatment option given by my doctor, and only found out through own research.

Review for Adam Leighton Acupuncturist
Having suffered from back pain for 6 years and having tried all types of traditional medicine to solve the problem, I turned to acupuncture to see if that might help. I was a bit of a sceptic at first but I am so pleased I gave it a go.

Acupuncture really is the only treatment that gives me immediate and long term relief and I cannot recommend Adam Leighton highly enough to anyone suffering from muscular discomfort.

Review for Adam Leighton Acupuncturist
Earlier this year, I'd made two long haul flights to America and Hong Kong - both resulting in terrible jet-lag on my return. On each occasion, it took about a week from landing to get back into a normal sleep pattern. I was falling asleep at 6pm, then wide awake until the small hours and feeling really wretched with it. Not surprisingly I was finding it very difficult to concentrate at work, and even trying to tire myself out with exercise didn't really help.

When I recently made a third international trip, again to America, I had already started having acupuncture a few weeks previously for other reasons. On Adam's recommendation, I came in to see him on the day that I landed. I'd arrived back in the UK at 6am not having slept at all on the flight. I crashed out for a couple of hours before my session and then dragged myself to the clinic for my appointment. After my session I felt pretty human for the rest of the day, which was a minor miracle in itself. That night, I slept deeply for 12 hours. After that, I was totally back to my normal sleeping patterns - no residual jet-lag at all, really good energy levels and no concentration issues at work.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend an acupuncture session with Adam Leighton at Eden Clinic after travelling. It made a huge difference to me, and I'd definitely make this a regular part to any overseas trip.

Review for Adam Leighton Acupuncturist
I went for weekly acupuncture after 16 months trying to conceive my second child. I was pretty low spirited and didn't really think that it would help but thought that I would give it a go. Meeting Adam Leighton, I was impressed by his deep knowledge on fertility from a scientific as well as holistic approach and his understanding of my emotional journey.

The sessions were a mix of chat and treatment and I found his advice about how to monitor my cycle and my (and my partners) diet, vitamin intake and environmental factors very useful.

It made me feel back in control and able to understand my body and the best time to conceive. Amazingly, after seeing Adam for two cycles I did fall pregnant and our beautiful baby boy was born in December 2010.
