“Liked the informal setup, as I am in my 50's didn't want to be surrounded by young posy type youngsters, dress not important, all the staff have a lovely attitude offering help if needed but leave you alone if not. Music not so loud as to make conversation impossible, two large tv screens, just a very comfortable place to be so would recommend to anyone.”

The Powerhouse is not only the best priced gym in the area but has the feel of being a member of your own private club.
The gym is never too busy with plenty of equipment and the Sauna/steam room is always kept clean and tidy without too much it is always a relaxation and never busy.
Friendly members always make you feel welcome.
I have been a member for quite a few years now and have always found the staff to be helpful and very professional in their approach.

Friendly, helpful ,experienced staff. Always on hand if you need help with equipment or just advice. Good clean gym with all the equipment you'll need to get in shape.

I have found all of the staff very helpful and informative with fantastic value for money this club is reccommended by me !!!!

I have been a member of Powerhouse Fitness Centre since it opened in 1993. I have always found it very friendly and obliging. I have had personal training and assistance with my bad back and seen a thorough improvement.
