“The services of Mike Markham from Markham HR had been engaged at a particularly difficult and complex period for the Public Protection Department within Hampshire Constabulary.

It was a prerequisite that Mike would be required to quickly learn and understand Public Protection as an area of Hampshire Constabulary to ensure that the services, support and advice he provided were specific to our requirements of reviewing the current staffing structures and practices. I had been impressed with the pace in which Mike adapted to the requirements of the Department and our team considered it a significant achievement to have secured the services of Markham HR.

Over the course of the past year Mike has supported the Constabulary on a number of different reviews and his impact has contributed to the success of the changes and transitions of the projects he has supported. Mike quickly became an instrumental element to our review team, without whom our ability to meet the change requirements and ensure our actions were in accordance with legislation and company policy would have been impacted.

Thanks to Mike a change that would affect around 340 individuals only had direct impacted on a very small number of Staff as part of the change process. This meant that Hampshire Constabulary could continue to provide an excellent Public Protection service to the public, but at a reduced cost of around 700,000 pounds.

I would personally have no concerns whatsoever in referring the services of Markham HR to any other businesses.
