About Gandhi Indian Restaurant

Naturally, to complement your choice of food, we can offer a fine selection of chilled Indian & English lagers, beers, fine wines and spirits, or of course for that special occasion, Champagne – the King of Wines.

We especially welcome Party Bookings and can comfortably accommodate up to 100 persons, if you have any special requirements, please do not hesitate to telephone to discuss them.

Naturally, we are very aware that first class hospitality is essential to encourage your return visits, and recommendations to your friends.

From the minute we walked in, to the time we left, the evening was enjoyable. It was the best indian meal I have had, and the staff could not have been more welcoming and friendly.

I tried chicken rajstani at Gandhi's indian restaurant(a coconut milk based regional curry) last night. It was amazing. I will recommend it to those who loves mild to medium strength curry.

When I asked for an Indian soup Gandhi recommended me Rassam soup (a lentil based soup). After the first spoon of Rassam the first thing came out from my mouth is Wow. It is really tasty.

Ordered a delivery last night from Gandhi's Indian Restaurant in Portsmouth, they charge for the delivery but i really don't mind paying the delivery charge as i get the deliveries before the promised time.

The best indian restaurant in portsmouth by far, have enjpyed many indian meals and a nice bottle of wine.

Gandhi is a very special Indian restaurant; we've been eating here for years and their standards only ever improve.

The food is delicious with real taste from fresh spices and the King Prawn Suka and Duck Biriani being particular favourites.

Try it and you'll be spoilt!

Went to the recent themed Spice Route Club evening, which feautured Thai. Food was delicious (& spicy!), with a good variety of dishes.

First time in this restaurant and was suitably impressed with the service and surroundings, everything was very efficient but relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Look foward to going again very soon.

Superb meal. The staff really looked after Portsmouth Rugby club when we went in for a club dinner. Food was wonderful and we had a really great time. Thank you.
