A fantastic salon! Megan always cuts my hair perfectly and knows exactly what I want. The welcome is always friendly and the prices are very reasonable.

I live 10 miles outside Portsmouth therefore have a wealth of hairdresser's to choose from, but I have been using Megan's services in excess of 20 years, the staff are alway's cheerful & friendly & the service exceptional, is this enough to recommend Way-A-Head.

Well, let me tell you, after waking up and seeing Worzel Gummidge staring back at me in the mirror I knew that dreaded time had come, I needed to visit a Hair Dresser.

As I have been petrified of scissors since childhood, hair salons are not something I relish. This time though I decided to visit a new place, I had nothing to lose and to be honest I had practically ran screaming from all the rest. I remembered a friend recommended Way Ahead, so off I trotted.

On arrival I was greeted by the most delightful stylist who immediately took me in hand and made me feel at home. I explained to her what I usually have; she examined my hair and made a few suggestions. She made me feel so safe in her hands I thought what the heck and agreed I would try something new. Well I couldn???t believe it, within 15 minutes she had transformed what was once a large stack of dry hay and not to mention an increasing concern to my local fire department, into something that you would expect to see on the front cover of a Magazine.

I was so happy, what an enjoyable experience this has been. As it became time to pay I pulled out a ??20 note. I was not expecting much change but to my astonishment, I received back much more than I had expected.

What an amazing, outstanding place. Impeccable service, friendly and not to forget incredibly competent staff. Needless to say I have already booked a return appointment.
