I had a really nice pint and was offered a tasting session first.

Great forest pub serving tasty, well sourced,'fill-you-up' food -accompanied by some lovely local tipples!

The staff were friendly and good at their jobs. It was also a nice change to see the Landlord and Landlady about the place!!!

I organised a reunion of old Army comrades there on July 12th, 2008. The staff could not have been more helpful and efficient. A high chair for my Grand-daughter and a bowl of fresh water for the labrador, that fetched his master along, was no problem at all.

Apart from my family, all the others had travelled in from different parts of the country, and all were unstinting in their praise of the Waterloo Arms. Ringwood's Best was a particular favourite.

A true Hampshire country pub. By popular demand, the next reunion will also be held there.

Just popped in out of curiosity really, and found it refreshing to find a 'proper' country pub! Real ales served perfectly, lovely service, and relaxing atmosphere, woudl definitely recommend them to anyone who is fed up of large chains pretending to be , and aspiring to be what the Waterloo Arms is!
