Emu Limited, a marine consultancy and survey company, contracted Refix to develop and refurbish their new 20 000 sq. ft. facility in Portchester, near Portsmouth. The site has been fully refurbished to meet bespoke laboratory, warehousing and office requirements, enabling Emu to develop and expand their capabilities with respect to the rapidly expanding marine environmental market.

Refix managed the multidisciplined project using their in house tradesmen and specialist subcontractors. The task involved carrying out a wide range of requirements from electrics, plumbing, joinery, decoration, carpentry and flooring to specialist projects involving the building of four laboratory complexes with exacting requirements. The team was knowledgeable, helpful, efficient and very pleasant whenever queries or changes were required. They even cleared up after themselves as they went along!
