The Marketing Assistant is responsible for raising the profile of The Disc Directory on the web and amongst our target audience.

The role requires excellent knowledge and an understanding of marketing skills, particularly online. An interest in recruitment and business is essential and good communication to build relationships with organisations and people both on the web and face to face.

Duties include:

To undertake an online marketing strategy for The Disc Directory in conjunction with the Marketing Director and his team.

- To research suitable websites, forums, online networks and other platforms to promote Striding Out and Figuring Out
- To further develop our existing presence on websites, forums and online networks e.g. Myspace, Face Book etc.
- To monitor the impact of the online marketing strategy.
- To research other areas, as required.

- To communicate The Disc Directory, Figuring Brand and ethos to all relevant parties, when liaising with external parties etc.
- To liaise with partners to develop referral links, affiliate arrangements, advertisements etc.
- To maintain the database of online marketing channels and contacts.
- To plan and present a monthly online marketing report. Personal Skill Specification
